Willkommen zur aktuellen Ausgabe der EVI LICHTUNGEN 2026! Vom 22. bis 25. Januar laden wir Sie ein, die Licht Kunst Biennale in Hildesheim zu entdecken. Hier finden Sie alles zum Programm und weiterführende Informationen. Die inhaltliche Ausrichtung der sechsten Ausgabe orientiert sich am Thema »Resonanz – Licht, Kunst, Mensch, Ort in Beziehung«. Das Programm umfasst internationale Künstler*innen sowie Hochschul- und Schulprojekte, die Licht als Material und Medium in immersiven, poetischen und konzeptuellen Installationen einsetzen. Zu sehen sind die Arbeiten von 18 bis 23 Uhr, mit einigen Ausnahmen, die Sie in den jeweiligen Beschreibungen finden. Informationen vor Ort erhalten Sie in der Tourist-Info am Marktplatz. Zusätzlich gibt es einen digitalen Wegweiser sowie ab dem 21. Januar einen gedruckten Übersichtsflyer in der Tourist-Info. Zum Aufhalten und Aufwärmen auf der Tour empfehlen wir die lokale Gastronomie in Hildesheim, insbesondere die EVI LICHTUNGEN Bar im Hotel Van der Valk am Marktplatz – auch als Treffpunkt nach dem Besuch der Biennale. EVI LICHTUNGEN 2026 werden von Initiator und Projektleiter Klaus Wilhelm und Lene Weisner kuratiert. Organisation und Durchführung der Veranstaltung liegt bei der Hildesheim Marketing GmbH.

        Welcome to the latest edition of EVI LICHTUNGEN 2026! From January 22 to 25, 2026, we invite you to discover the Light Art Biennial in Hildesheim. Here you will find everything you need to know about the programme and further information. The content of the sixth edition focuses on the theme of »resonance – light, art, people and place in relation to one another«. The programme includes international artists as well as university and school projects that use light as a material and medium in immersive, poetic and conceptual installations. The works are on display from 6 pm to 11 pm, with a few exceptions, which you will find in the respective descriptions. Information is available on site at the tourist information office on the market square. In addition, there is a digital guide and, from 21 January, a printed overview flyer will be available at the tourist information office. To take a break and warm up during the tour, we recommend the local restaurants in Hildesheim, especially the EVI LICHTUNGEN Bar in the Hotel Van der Valk on the market square – also a great meeting place after visiting the Biennial. EVI LICHTUNGEN 2026 is curated by initiator and project manager Klaus Wilhelm and Lene Weisner.
