“Ex oriente lux” is the name of the installation which will turn the Basilica St. Godehard during the EVI Lichtungen into a miraculous space of longing. The lightartist Katrin Bethge is inviting the visitors to spend time between cathedral glass, ornaments and floating water. The overhead projections of Katrin Bethge dance as evanescent materials over the surfaces of the space. Cosmic and microcosmic spaces of light are produced by refractive objects, liquids and everyday materials.
