Die EVI LICHTUNGEN 2026 sind abgeschlossen. Vom 22. bis 25. Januar 2026 fand die sechste Ausgabe der Licht Kunst Biennale in Hildesheim statt. Unter dem Thema Resonanz – Licht, Kunst, Mensch, Ort in Beziehung« zeigten internationale Künstler*innen sowie Hochschul- und Schulprojekte Lichtinstallationen im öffentlichen Raum, die Licht als Material und Medium in unterschiedlichen künstlerischen Ansätzen einsetzten.
Wir danken allen Künstler*innen, Projektbeteiligten, Hochschulen und Schulen für ihre Beiträge sowie unseren Sponsorinnen und Förderpartnerinnen für die Unterstützung der Veranstaltung. Unser Dank gilt ebenso den zahlreichen Besucher*innen, die die Biennale besucht und das Programm mit Interesse begleitet haben.
Ein weiterer Dank richtet sich an alle Beteiligten in Organisation, Planung und Durchführung, die die Umsetzung der EVI LICHTUNGEN 2026 ermöglicht haben.

       EVI LICHTUNGEN 2026 has come to an end. From anuary 22 to 25, 2026 , the sixth edition of the Light Art Biennial took place in Hildesheim. Under the theme
“Resonance – Light, Art, Human, Place in Relation”,
international artists as well as university and school projects presented light installations in public space, using light as material and medium in a variety of artistic approaches.
We would like to thank all artists, project participants, universities and schools for their contributions, as well as our sponsors and funding partners for their support of the event. Our thanks also go to the many visitors who attended the Biennial and engaged with the programme with interest.
Further thanks are due to everyone involved in the organisation, planning and implementation of EVI LICHTUNGEN 2026, whose commitment made the event possible.
EVI LICHTUNGEN 2026 was curated by Klaus Wilhelm and Lena Weisner. Organisation and implementation were carried out by Hildesheim Marketing GmbH.
We are already looking forward to the next edition in 2028.
